“We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love…and then we return home.”

~Australian Aboriginal Proverb

Pondering Life's Big Questions

Looking for answers to big-picture questions like these?

  • What’s my purpose?
  • Is there a God?
  • What’s the true nature of reality?
  • Why is there so much conflict in the world?

There are no easy answers, only guideposts to help us make our respective journeys.

This website might help. It offers glimpses into some of the many guideposts left by others, giving you ideas on how you might choose to pursue your own journey through this world.

Pat Case

Facilitator • Writer • Seeker

Pat Case, the producer, and author of this website, writes about the aspects of life that shape how we perceive and interact with the world and how those perceptions and experiences influence our journeys through life.

She explores the foundations of our belief systems and challenges us to rethink whether or not our constructs about life, religion, spirituality, and reality hold up against alternative views.

In doing so, Pat offers perspectives on a range of paths people might choose to explore in their respective quests for understanding purpose, and spiritual awakening.

She asks us to set aside our preconceived views, think beyond the limitations of the boundaries we set, and wonder how life and reality might be different from what we believe it is.

She offers perspectives on what it would be like if we took off our blinders and viewed ourselves within the context of the immersive universe of which we are a part, inclusive of both the tangible and intangible forces that affect our lives.

Pat’s writing is imbued with a passion for understanding our purpose within the context of a much bigger reality than we can imagine.

Her work builds on her lifelong career managing change in business environments, her views about all things being connected, the work she did for a hospice organization, and her interests in the spiritual and scientific realms.

She sees herself as an inquiring observer of the human condition, on a quest to gain a deeper understanding of the interwoven threads of our existence. To the extent that she can share, modify, and integrate with others the ideas she’s captivated by, all the better.
